Mount Wudang is home to eight palaces, seventy-two temples in caves, thirty-nine bridges, thirty-six nunneries, twelve pavilions, and two temples.

During the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1643 AD), Mt. Wudang was known as a grand spectacle of all ages and is one of the best examples of ancient-religious architecture anywhere.

The Golden Hall, a temple built on Mt. Wudang in the 15th century is the largest copper building in China. The ninety-ton structure was plated in Gold in Beijing before being moved to the mountain.

Today was a day of goodbyes, me and my family drove to the airport to say goodbye and good luck to my older brother and his girlfriend as they embarked on their journey into the new chapter of their lives on the other side of the world. It was a day of mixed emotions like anybody feels when someone they love emigrates, I was so happy to see them start their new adventure in life, where they can work and experience the world, but I was also so sad to see my big brother leave. Who else will fix bits of my car before I even realize there was anything wrong just to keep me safe??!! Ranch Reflections

Spring isn’t quite here for most of the country, but here in south Texas the bees are getting an early start. Most people who look at this photos will feel serenity and reflect on the beauty of nature’s coitus, BUT for me, taking these photos caused some serious heart thumping. These red flowers were hopping with bees and I am pretty much allergic to anything that emits venom (except scorpions because they are in the spider family). So as I leaned in to get these shots, I felt quite the dare devil!

I made it out alive.
